John Salvia is a Professor Emeritus of Special Education at Pennsylvania State University. Dr. Salvia is also an individual test writer by profession and has written many articles about the assessment of students who have a background in disability. He focused his research interest in the use of assessment information as a medium to plan and evaluate educational programs. John Salvia received a BA in education in 1963 and also received an M.Ed in 1964 in the history of the University of Arizona as well as a Ph.D. in 1968 in special education with a study program in educational Psychology from Pennylvania University.

James E. Ysseldyke is a researcher and psychologist who lived his profession for 35 years. He is also a Professor of Psychologists in the School Psychology Program at the University of Minnesota. Dr. Ysseldyke’s writings and research focus more on the field of increasing the competencies possessed by each student and also increasing the capacity of the system to meet the needs of students.
