De aanloop is misschien lang en het is niet het meest originele verhaal.
Wel goed verteld.
Juist door die aanloop, vind ik het veel meer als een standaard 'aktie-film'.
Bijvoorbeeld de gesprekken in het groepje, waarin een gangstah-niggah met tatoes in zijn gezicht verteld over zijn demonen tegen wie hij elke dag moet vechten.
Niet die met hoorns, die kan hij wel hebben, maar die bij hem op rand van zijn bed zitten en hem vertellen dat hij alles kapot maakt om hem heen. Elke dag weer.
Ik hou van zo'n sausje over de film heen.
Brody heeft zo'n zielig zeur hoofd, beetje à la Nicolas Cage. Irriteer me daar vaak aan.
Vind dat juist in deze film erg goed passen. De getergde man. Er is namelijk niks leuks meer.
De Bad guy.. Dat was toch die corrupte cipier uit de serie 'for life..'
Vind hem ook erg sterk als slechte rik.
Goede kop heeft die vent.
