Extended Stay Hotels in Fort Worth&Guest User Reviews

On March 27 2021 i and girlfriend and 14 year old daughter went to a family gathering from Tyler tx. When booking the room I was told the rooms rate was 130.00 after tax. This rate is more than what I give for holiday day in express. At the time rooms was limited and so price wasn’t my issue till I was informed that they Price gouged me and in the times we are in. I personally asked the gentleman that did the reservations if this was a nice motel that I had equipment in the back of my truck and I didn’t want to stay at a crack den. His words were this place is new it’s very nice and you can park In front your room. I went against my judgement and got the room for the fact that Wyndham was the name that Represented the super eight. Upon arrival there are many diffrent people walking around back and fourth looking at us like we were crazy the man that booked us didn’t speak English and the window busted out the room next to ours. We grinded our teeth and said we are tired and need some rest so we can handle it biggest mistake ever. At around 11:00 the music in other rooms got loud woman screaming as if the were being killed which has emotionally scared my daughter. Not to mention at 12:30 I felt lead to check on my truck upon doing so there were several guys surrounding my truck and one said that’s a very nice truck I said thanks and set and smoked a cigg. After 2 min they all left seeing I wasn’t leaving. Needless to say I slept in my truck making sure it wasn’t Vandalize vandalize through out the night I seen those same men walk past my truck and look to see if I was there. Worst experience ever truly deserves a refund of payment.

This is actually the second review I have done on this hotel but for good reason. The first review was very strong because our visit was excellent BUT I did not give a perfect review because after we had left the hotel we noticed that someone had hit the front fender of our rental car. We thought the only time this could happen would've been during the evening while it was parked in the hotel lot, so I mentioned that concern in my first review. However once we turned in the rental car in Austin, the rental car admitted that this was preexisting damage and not caused during our use. But that is not why I am writing the second review. The General Manager of this Homewood Suites, Toni Uzzell, immediately contacted me about the review out of concern about the potential accident in their lot. So not only does she read the reviews right away, but she immediately responds - but it did not stop there. She actually went through hours of video (pretty much like watching paint dry) to try and determine what happened. As a General Manager for a major hotel, this is a tremendous chore, ESPECIALLY since it never happened there, but that just shows how dedicated she is to customer service. Thank you so much Tony and I apologize we put you through that unnecessarily.

Randi is so nice and professional at check in and whenever we needed something during our stay. Alicia and Nicole also provided the same amazing level of service when we needed help. Housekeeping does a great job keeping the room and property clean. We saw security several times through our or stay checking to make sure all the outside doors were locked.

This hotel was exceptionally clean, as I’m sure most of it has to do with the fact that it relatively brand new. And the staff was cleaning continuously. The rooms are quiet and very comfortable! The bed and the pillows were the most comfy I’ve ever slept in and the room gets super dark when you pull the shades, even in the middle of the day. Our room had just a shower, it would’ve been nice to have a shower tub combo, but all in all I will give this room and hotel five stars! The location is ideal for shopping and restaurants close by. And also, it’s on the outskirts of Ft. Worth, so traffic isn’t too terrible getting around. Breakfast was good and had a decent selection, waffles, eggs, bacon, oatmeal, yogurt, cereal, muffins, juice, and coffee. Negative: Pool was freezing! I thought for an indoor pool it would be heated…

Great hotel, stayed here on a previous trip. Definitely wanted to stay again. Great breakfast; however the cinnamon buns are up to the hype they get. Love being able to eat before hitting the road. Breakfast burrito was great.

We couldn’t take a big trip for Spring Break and then my husband got sick so my girls and I needed somewhere nice to go with plenty of space and a good pool. We were so happy with this hotel! I originally booked for one night but once we got there and saw everything, we extended our stay. This hotel is very modern and fresh and clean, lots of casual meeting space which I’m sure is much nicer to use when covid protocols don’t prohibit it - sure am ready for that to change! They have a bar area and a juke box and video game and pool table, an excellent indoor pool and hot tub and a really nice seating area outside with a little putting green and lots of comfortable seating! It’s off the highway and in a somewhat busy area but I thought it was extremely quiet and well insulated - we slept just fine! The room was big and comfy and we had a regular two queen suite - they have some really awesome room choices that look great for families! Everything was so nice, all the people working were friendly and helpful and I forgot my make a few times and they weren’t even rude about it, which I really appreciated. I know covid is a big deal and it was clear they were very serious about their precautions without being pushy about it. Overall I don’t know that we will return because this was an unusual stay but I would highly recommend it to anyone with a bigger family - the two queens and the pullout bed was great - and the amenities made our vacation good! The pool was great, it just gets really stuffy in there so I opened the door to the patio and let the air in.

The employees were very courteous and friendly. I was dismayed when I had to valet my car at a rate of $30/night, which I was not informed of prior to arrival. I felt I should mention so that others will know what to expect. The location is right at the convention center, which is approximately 3 miles via car ride from the Stockyards. The room was clean, as was the hotel. I felt completely safe staying there and was satisfied with my stay overall.

I want to be fair, because I understand that some things are out of the hotel's control with the COVID19 restrictions in place. That is the reason I'm rating three stars instead of two. The pool and exercise room are closed. There is no breakfast or even coffee bar. The positives are the price, location, friendly staff, kitchen, and large room with a comfortable bed. The television is analog so you're not going to be able to get Netflix, and the internet is slow as molasses. The closet had no hangers. The towels were clean, but looked quite worn. There was no shower curtain, so I took baths while I was there. A small container of shampoo was provided, but not conditioner or lotion. The decor is very dated. One of my lamps was missing a light bulb. The room was clean but I noticed a few spots on the carpet. Would I stay there again? Probably not, but at the same time it wasn't that bad either. If you just need a place to crash for a night or two, it's acceptable.

We went to a concert and had a late checking at 12:30. The non-smoking room we were provided reeked of tobacco smoke. The front desk was notified but my kids had fallen asleep and I didn't want the hassle at 1 of moving to another room. The next morning upon daylight, it became very apparent this was a very run down, poorly maintained or cleaned hotel. Besides the overpowering tobacco smell, we discovered the following issues, a smoke detector missing, the AC unit was badly damaged, not all lights were working order, mold in all corners and along grout in tub and the outside of facility had trash all in parking lot and along outside of facility. The manager again was notified of tobacco smell in room and blamed it on another guest smoking in nearby room. He never apologized or tried to make the issues right. I find fault that not only did the horrendous smell not concern him and could create issues for anyone with lung or breathing issues (hence non-smoking) but operating a facility with the amount of issues our room alone had and then charging what a much better accomodations would cost is unacceptable. All these were brought to management attention again and through Hopper who I booked through with the manager refusing my request for a refund. THIS is an UNSAFE (missing detector, lights not working) UNHEALTHY (mold, tobacco smoke) environment I highly recommend you not subject yourself or family to these conditions.

Wonderful pet friendly hotel in DFW with lots of grass space available for potty breaks! I'll give you the 411 on the property after I tell you the best part of our stay...the amazing staff. Raul at the front desk is always happy to help with a smile and a kind word....and was very accommodating when we stayed an extra night without letting the desk know first and then replenishing our toiletries after we declined maid service without asking for more shampoo, etc. And Andrea....holy moly Andrea!! That amazing lady was a life saver with a beautiful smile who went far beyond the extra mile when I needed a document printed after midnight for an unscheduled meeting early the next morning!! This property and the staff who keep it running have made a frustrating trip so much more bearable and we are eternally grateful. I hope the corporate office and regional managers genuinely appreciate the gold they have in their employees at the NFW-Alliance Airport property and make an effort to keep them happy. As a Sales Manager for Red Lion for many years, I know first hand how invaluable it is having not only competent but genuinely hospitable personnel on site to look after their guests. I'd have been honored to have the folks at any of my properties. Now for the hotel itself... The rooms are spacious and there is a pool, fitness center, and easy to use washers & dryers so you can do your laundry while you are traveling! No feeding the machines quarters, just swipe your card! The complimentary breakfast every morning is second to none! Eggs, sausage (two kinds!), muffins, bagels, cereal, waffles, fruit, coffee, juice, etc... And there is always fresh coffee and hot water for tea available in the lobby throughout the day and even at midnight! ;) We will definitely be back!!

Stayed here while visiting Texas Christian on a college visit. While we were extremely disappointed with the college we enjoyed our stay here very much. Our room was very clean, spacious and well appointed. The modern decor is crisp and refreshing. While the staff definitely looked busy and overworked they were generally accommodating. One of the valet men was quite rude though lol oh well he must’ve been having a bad day.

Had a blast. Everything was located downtown and within walking distance. The valet drivers was wonderful and very helpful. The staff was wonderful also. Whenever we needed anything, they brought it within 5 minutes or less. My only negative was there was no phone in the room to actually call the front office or housekeeping. I will definitely be back.

The stay was quiet nice rooms

It is a beautiful hotel, tastefully decorated and very clean. Walking distance to the shops and restaurants that Fort Worth stockyards has to offer. The pool is also well maintained and nice. For small dishes (breakfast/lunch/evening, various starbucks coffees (also in ice cream version) and other drinks you can go to the lobby. Be prepared that parking the car (valet parking) costs 20 dollars per night. But it is well organized with friendly staff.

It’s a very nice place for friends and family we be back soon to see y’all 👍👍👍

Fabulous stay! Friendly staff, would definitely stay here again. Me and my family enjoyed our one night stay. Great location. The check in and out was quick and helpful. Great value for the price. We discovered early on in our stay, that the location of this hotel, was conveniently located to the freeway and only 15 minutes away from where our relatives reside. It was also only about 30 minutes from the airport; making it a straight shot to return our rental car before leaving the area.

This (or the Eastchase loc.) is one of the best valued hotels in the area!!! It's located in close proximity to whatever you might need (fast food, restaurants, corner store/gas, Target, shopping mall, highways, etc etc) and is cleaned and maintained properly. We've stayed many times and have never had a cleanliness issue. Pool/hot tub are sparkling clean and open year round!!

Great location for the reason we came into Fort Worth. We were also located not far from th Stock Yards that I could tell. We did not visit this time around. Everything to eat is nicely located not far from the Hotel. Great location and quite stay.

I recently stayed here for 4 nights in April. We have mixed emotions about this place. If you’re looking strictly for an ok place to sleep at nights, this will likely do the trick. If you’re looking for quality or amenities, look elsewhere. I was disappointed when we found out the pool, hot tub, gym, and ice machine were all “out of order”. If those are important things, you may want to call in advance to verify their status. All of the employees we encountered were rather friendly. The breakfast was what I expected if not a little better. Your basic waffle maker, bacon, toast, and eggs. The one thing I would mention is the area that this hotel is located in is um suspect at best. It’s directly off the highway which is great for access but that’s about it. We encountered countless homeless folks. Right up the road are a few strip clubs. This just isn’t a place I would bring kids to stay at. The parking lot at night is pretty questionable. I would highly recommend parking as close to the front entrance as possible. The room was clean and was fine. The dead bolt lock was totally broken and was laughable. Overall the moral of the story is, you get what you pay for.

Staff was awesome Andrew, Rick, Christy, Nan, Ivy, Tony, Mandy, Najee Samantha Sara Shannon Was very friendly professional took great care of us Rick was so helpful to work with Appreciate the accommodation

Check-in went smooth. The trouble started when my wife and I returned from moving our daughter into her apartment. It was about 10:00 pm and right across from our room there were several people in one room with the door open yelling and screaming at each other. I stepped out in the hallway and asked if they would take their fight somewhere else. One lady told me that the Fort Worth Police Department was on the way. I went to the front desk and the lady was on the phone to the police. The police came and after at least one hour the problem seemed to be solved But, I was wrong. I spoke to a lady who told me that her husband’s truck was broken into and she was changing hotel asap. The noise continued all night. Even the next morning when we were checking out some of the same group were yelling and screaming at each other. When I complained I was told there was nothing that could be done. I asked why they checked that many people into one room and just got an excuse. There are much safer and better hotels in Fort Worth.

Avoid this hotel! Our room was gross on arrival. The smell was the worse. The first room, our bathtub was full of hair and a dirty bath cloth. Something very nasty was smeared across the wall above the trash, and the air did not cool. We asked for another room and were moved. The second room was clean but still had a foul smell. The closet shelf/pole fell on my son. They came much later and fixed only for it to fall again. Our toilet handle broke and it took 2 days to fix it. We had to call the corporate office to get someone in the room to fix the toilet. The front desk would not address it. The advertised shuttle was not running. The bar was fully open, but the advertised restaurant was closed because the cook did not show for 2 nights. (Pretty sure that was against the state health departments mandate). We had several friends in different rooms with other issues. The coffee makers not working, tv not working, refrigerator not cooling etc. To top our bad experience off... at checkout the bill had so many extra charges that we are still disputing that it doubled our cost. We have called for a week and cannot get a manager, and are told he is the only one that can help us. I have finally called the corporate office again and waiting a response. I disputed the charges at check out also, but was told then there was not manager on-site and the front desk could not fix it.

This is a great hotel situated in a convenient location with several options for dinner and activities. We were happy with the layout and overall quality of the hotel. The in room kitchen amenities were awesome so we could stay in and relax. Our only draw back about the experience was sleeping. Large king size bed so no complaints on room however very uncomfortable. The linens were sparse and feather pillows not as comfortable as I would have imagined considering the caliber of the other amenities. If you don't require the fluff and comfort in the bedding amenities you are solid with this hotel choice. I give this hotel a solid 4.5 for convenience and comfort for business but if you want to have the luxury of a vacation and soft pillows to bat considering a higher price point. Overall this hotel, staff and amenities are top notch for a simple staycation. I might also mention no fault by any of the hotel staff or affiliations they seem to be dealing with car break ins. There was a small incident that was handled very professionally by staff I noticed check out day. Parking is ample and close this was surely just a matter of coincidence and staff was on top of ensuring guest and belongings were top priority. Thanks Hilton, great stay. Suggestion...no more feather pillows 😁

Beautiful hotel!! I work in the hotel industry, I spent 10+ years in housekeeping, from housekeeper all the way to executive housekeeper amd I am super critical about hotels. I have also worked for Hampton Inn & Suites before. This property has a very well trained staff, extremely professional welcoming front desk staff and super clean beautifully maintain super clean rooms and facilities. 5 stars all the way for this property!

Perfect stay. Recently remodeled hotel. Breakfast was perfect. Don't shy away from this Super 8. Held my bag during the Rangers game and helped me out of an embarrassing situation. If you are in the Fort Worth area, stay here.

Receptionist was very kind and informative. From was spacious. Requested 2 queen beds and they weren't exactly in the same room; one bed was in main room with tv, desk and love seat, while the other was in a semi separate room with a desk. There was a door to separate it from the main room. Would've been nice in a ”letting the kids have their own room” scenario or drunk friend gets their own room. Breakfast was not provided or offered, even to go style despite website saying it was. Hotel kitchen/breakfast room wasn't offered either.

Comfortable room and bed! Never touched the A/C and temperature was perfect. Quiet. Great breakfast, and Alexis was the best breakfast area worker ever!!! Everything was kept refilled, and there was a wide variety of good food. Even the sausage was great and not cheap and yucky. It was clean, and she was sweet and friendly. Iris Pineiro, the Director of Sales, came through checking on everyone in the breakfast area. She was very kind, and I even saw her wiping tables down at one point. The room was fully equipped with a kitchenette, a huge television and a large shower. Perfect location for this job. Hope I get to come back to Fort Worth soon! I will definitely be staying here again.

I LOVED my days at the Hampton Inn. Great location, everything was organized and so clean. The service from staff was amazing, specially Jack!! who helped with all my questions, was kind all the time, and shows that he cares about your experience at the hotel. Thanks !!

We recently stayed at this property while visiting our son in college. We were given the wrong room at check in although we did not know that until later. At around 11pm we woke up to loud voices in the hall and someone trying to get into a room. A few minutes later there was loud knocking on our door and someone was trying to get into OUR room. The person said he was with the hotel and wanted to know our name. My husband got dressed and went to the door and told them our name. I can't understand why they needed that information since we had an advance reservation, I'm a Marriott member, they had our credit card on file and we gave an ID at check-in. That's when the employee told us they had give us the wrong room. What did they expect to happen at 11pm- that we would vacate the room? We found out the next morning that the hotel was sold out, which made the situation even more confusing since the guests who booked the room we were given also had an advance reservation. The employee who had knocked on our door said he asked the manager- Victor Rivera- what to do about the situation in terms of an apology and was told to just apologize for the inconvenience. I reached out to Marriott and they credited my Marriott account 10,000 points. Seriously, for giving us the wrong room and then being rudely awakened? There are so many hotels to choose from and we will certainly think very carefully before selecting a Marriott brand again. I feel totally undervalued as a guest!
