How to disassemble graco pack n play with changing table

5.0 out of 5 stars Very impressed!

This is the second pack and play I’ve purchased in the last 10 years. I sold the first one thinking I was done having kids. It was a “deluxe” version with the bassinet, changing table, mobile, etc that I was convinced I needed with my first son. Now of course I know that it’s easier to just change the baby on the couch, not waste my time with a bassinet that he’ll weight too much for within a couple of months, etc. So I was looking on local sites to find a nice used play yard that we could use in hotels or at grandmas house but I had no luck finding anything under $50!! So I turned to my trusted amazon and found this amazing deal. Less than $40 for a brand new one? SOLD! When it arrived I was shocked how tiny the box was. My previous version was at least a foot longer of a box. Opened it up and the pack and play itself does not seem much smaller than the standard size. My 7 month old baby fits great in this and will for a long time.Just a word of advice, make sure you click in ALL of the sides (each side has 2 parts that need to click) BEFORE pushing the bottom down. It will not click together if the bottom has been pushed. When taking it down do the opposite, make sure you pull up the bottom prior to unclicking the rails. I hope this helps to prevent massive frustration when first putting it together!Every time I purchase something online, I always check the reviews. Works great - easy to fold and set up once you know the trick (sides first, then bottom when setting up; bottom then sides when folding & slide sides a bit up or down to make it easier to fold them). I bought this primarily to use as a bassinet (after LOTS of research) while my daughter stayed with us after having her baby (her other kids were sick and she and her husband did not want the baby to get sick too). Great height at bassinet level - she could see the baby and reach him easily from bed - and SO much cheaper and more useful than those fancy bassinets that hang over side of bed or shake/twirl around. And it feels so much sturdier - we were afraid her 4 year old would take the baby for quite a spin in those - plus there is nothing to break or stop working on this. You don't need that rocking or shaking to make a baby sleep - plus they'd eventually have to transition to a crib without all that anyway. Walking around a baby store we found those fancy bassinets did not have support on all sides so the sleeping surface could easily slightly tip to one side which we worried about. Guess that is why they have such low limits for the maximum baby weights. Again, we knew her toddlers would hold on to the sides to see the baby as well. This bassinet can be used for larger babies and even toddlers (without the bassinet insert) so we'll get years of use as bassinet/crib/travel crib. Biggest deal is the baby sleeps great in here. We never missed for a second the other fancy packnplay accessories that double or triple the cost. We bought the quilted and regular sheet made especially for this packnplay but baby sleeps well without them too. Unsafe to add extra mattresses but those are not needed anyway. The reason we bought two - my daughter has one now in her open kitchen/living room so she has a safe place to put the baby out of the way of her rambunctious 4 and 2 year olds and where she can still keep an eye on the baby easily. I kept mine so I can do the same. I can easily move it down to my basement playroom myself pretty quickly when we play with the kids down there. To save on the price - Check the different patterns as this pattern was much cheaper than the same one in a different pattern. Plus the price fluctuates so watch the price - we got one for $79 and one for $55. So to new moms and grandmoms - I am writing this only to help you out - I have nothing against all those fancy baby items - but there is so much baby stuff to buy - don't get caught up in the hype - you really don't need it and then it only becomes a problem to store. Buy only sensible items that you truly need and will work for you long term. if you want a bassinet that you can use now and later as a crib or travel crib this is a great option.

This pack and play is cute and great for the price. Only downside is that it’s quite heavy to lug around so it’s probably not great for travel. We’re using it as a second sleep space for when I’m working from home so I can keep an eye on the baby. Assembly isn’t the easiest or fastest, but I likely won’t be dissembling it often anyway. Overall I’m satisfied for how we’re using it.

I was hesitant to purchase this because so many people showed their baby with their toe caught in the mesh. However, after assembling the playpen and seeing the mesh, the parents had to leave their baby unattended for this to happen, because the mesh is very soft and it’s nearly impossible for the baby to get their toe entangled unless they’re not being supervised. Overall this is a great product to keep baby close by without having to worry about them rolling off the bed or what not.

Awesome product. I have a 18-month baby and we are going on a family vacation. We’ve had bad experiences with hotel provided pack-and-play set: not always available, or we need to wait for a long time to have the crib sent to our room, bad quality and uncomfortable for the baby to sleep in. We decided to go for this pack and play and bring it with us on the trip. I was a bit hesitant, based on other reviews, I’m afraid I need to get an additional mattress for comfort. Turns out it’s simply amazing, very steady. Baby is very happy sleeping in it. It works perfectly fine without additional mattress. Finally, we can enjoy good night sleep during trips! Strongly recommended!

This is a basic pack and play from a trusted name. Easy to set up in a couple of minutes. I even did it without the instructions. No big frills , just quality. Excellent for visiting grandchild. The wheels make it easy to move from room to room.

Quality item! I enjoy that it is lighter weight than others, the design is cute, the mattress fits very snuggly.
Wish they would have still used the velcro to hold the mattress to the bottom of the play yard instead of the snaps. I find the snaps a bit difficult to work with.

2.0 out of 5 stars Bassinet is not good

Reviewed in Canada on June 29, 2022

I bought this playard for the bassinet, as my 3 months old baby is not yet ready to stay on its lowest level. I'm so disappointed:

1) Nowhere in the description of the item here it says that the maximum weight of the baby you can put in the bassinet is 6.8 kg. My baby is 7 kg, so it makes it useless?
2) The safety of the bassinet is questionable. If something fails and the bassinet falls with the baby in it, his back will be injured badly, as there's a big metal frame right under him, not covered by anything except for a thin layer of plastic. I will be putting blankets and pillows under the bassinet as it's really scary.
3) The bassinet is curved when the baby is in it and it doesn't stay flat and straight, rather takes on a "smiley" shape like a hammock. He can't do tummy time there and it is just uncomfortable laying like that. Toys don't stay upright and slide to the middle.
4) All sides of the playard are made of mesh but only 2 sides of the bassinet are made of mesh, the short sides are not see through. It defeats the purpose as I got this so that my baby could see me walking around from all angles.

I'm very disappointed with the bassinet, hopefully when we can use the playard without it, it will be better. If you need a bassinet, do yourself a favor and get something else.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excelente cuña viajera.

5.0 out of 5 stars Simple and great as a bed or playpen

I bought this as a playpen/bed for my granddaughter when she comes to visit. Easy to set up. There is one level only but the mattress is of very good quality and seems quite comfy.
