 Instagram is testing a new feature that will notify users when someone decides to take a screenshot of their temporary Instagram Stories. For the social media savvy among you, you may have noticed a similar feature that already exists to alert users of screenshots taken on Snapchat.
How does the feature work?According to Techcrunch, users screenshotting stories will be greeted with a warning pop-up in the app stating the next time they screenshot a user’s story, that user will be alerted by a circular icon shown next to a person’s name in the story’s ‘Seen By’ list.
