Show Right-click on a video or audio track and you should be able to find under the Group option to "Remove from" command, or U for the keyboard shortcut. If at some point you want to combine selected seperate audio and video together, you can choose Create New, or G for keyboard shortcut. Last edited by Mystix; Jul 22, 2015 @ 8:01am

Just right click on your sound bar and select lock then u can delete your video and after that dont forget to unlock the sound If you have an event in your timeline and you want to cut out a section in the middle of it while keeping a section at the beginning and end, using Split/Trim makes the task fast and easy, and it doesn’t matter which version of VEGAS you use – it works in them all! In this tutorial, we’ll explore using Split/Trim. We’ll follow these steps: STEP 1: Choose Your Media STEP 2: Select Your Edit Point STEP 3: Edit STEP 4: Drag to Delete a Section of an Event It’s really that simple. Read on to find out more! STEP 1: Choose Your Media✓ Drag a media clip from the Project Media window, the Explorer window, or a Windows folder and drop it on the timeline. It can be any kind of media, video, sound, photo, or anything else. STEP 2: Select Your Edit PointIdentify the frame where you want the split/trim to begin. ✓ Hold CTRL+ALT+Shift as you click the event at that frame. The event splits at that frame. STEP 3: Edit✓ Hold those keys and the mouse button while dragging the mouse in the direction you want to trim the clip. When you’ve trimmed the clip to the frame where you want it, release the mouse button and keys. You have now removed the section you didn’t want from the event. STEP 4: Drag to Delete a Section of an EventYou can also use Split/Trim to delete an unwanted section of an event entirely. ✓ Choose a different frame on the event, then hold CTRL+ALT+Shift as you click the event at that frame, just like before. This time, trim the clip all the way to its end point. Release the mouse button and keys. The section of the event is now deleted.
