India’s Best Dancer 2021 or Season 2: This dance reality show has become so popular in a short period of time, started post-COVID-19 and returns with its second season so fast.
The second seaon of this popular tv show is also known as ‘India’s Best Dancer: Best Ka Next Avatar’ which was started premiering on 16 Oct 2022, and the show witnessed several breathtaking dance performances.
If we talk about India’s Best Dancer Season first, its premiere was started on 29th Feb 2020, faced difficulties to complete 48 episodes and the finale took place on 22nd of November 2020, Tiger pop won the show and took home ₹15 lakh prize money.
The famous comedians and tv host Bharti Singh and her husband Haarsh Limbachiyaa hosted the show, gained so much popularity with them and judges like Geeta Kapoor, Terence Lewis, and Malaika Arora.
Now here talking about Season 2 where judged-trio back but the season hosted by famous actor-host Manish Paul.

India’s Best Dancer season 2 Contestants & Eliminations
The new popular dance reality TV show India’s Best Dancer was back with its second season on 16 Oct 2021 on Sony Entertainment Television, Sat-Sun, 8 PM, and Sony TV application anytime.
India’s Best Dancer Guest Lists
After auditions rounds from 16-31 Oct, there was no guest appeared in the show but after the two weeks of the premiere, the episode (20-21 Nov) called 90’s Special with Suniel Shetty and Karisma Kapoor.
The 13th episode on 27 Nov was also attended by 90′ popular pair Chunky Panday and Neelam Kothari, and the episode was called Neelam and Chunky Special.
The 14th episode (28th Nov) was attended by Bollywood movie actresses Divya Khosla Kumar and Nora Fatehi, episode was called ‘To Celebrate Satyameva Jayate 2’.
Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui pair Ayushmann Khurrana and Vaani Kapoor attended the 15th episode (4th Dec), they came to promote the movie was released on 10th of Dec.
Legendary Singer Asha Bhosle attended the 16th episode (5th Dec), ‘Celebrating 75 Years of Asha Ji’. Dharmendra and Asha Ji Special episode took place on 11-12 Dec.
Ex Contestants of Super Dancer 4 visited on (18-19 Dec) and the episode was called Dance Ka Super Sangam. The coming weekend is going to be very interesting as the famous actress Nora Fatehi and Singer Guru Randhawa come to promote their latest single ‘Dance Meri Rani’.
Shilpa Shetty, Badshah, Dharmesh Yelande, Mika Singh, and Manoj Muntashir attended ‘The Ultimate Finale’ on the 9th of Jan 2022.
The second season of dance reality show India’s Best Dancer got its winner on Sunday night. Saumya Kamble beat Raktim Thaturia, Zamroodh, Roza Rana and Gourav Sarwan to lift the India’s Best Dancer Season 2 trophy. Saumya also took home a car and cash prize of Rs 15 lakh. Her choreographer Vartika Jha received a cheque of Rs five lakh.
India’s Best Dancer Season 2 was judged by Terence Lewis, Geeta Kapur and Malaika Arora. Unfortunately, Malaika could not attend the finale of the show owing to some health issues.
“Malaika shot for two days with the team. However, she was feeling a little low. Given the times we are in, she decided to skip the shoot for her and everyone’s safety on the set. As of now, she is doing well and definitely regrets not being around for the finale,” the source told indianexpress.com.
In place of Malaika, Shilpa Shetty Kundra will be marking her appearance on the show. Interestingly, she will be judging India’s Got Talent with Badshah and Kirron Kher as well. The show will soon go on air.
On Sunday morning, Malaika Arora shared a picture of herself with Terence Lewis and Geeta Kapur. “As we showcase our ultimate finale tonite, just wanna say has been full of lauughs, love, tears, masti, friendship and unbelievable talent,” she wrote along with the photo.
Terence also shared a post on Instagram. The choreographer shared a glimpse from Saturday’s episode and praised Roza Rana, one of the finalists of India’s Best Dancer 2. “Last night, was inundated with lot of love on DMs for this Last performance of the Season with our firecracker, finalist contestant @rozaranadance ! Thank you for the love though this was put together last minute with no rehearsals! The icing on the cake was dancing with my partner in crime @geeta_kapurofficial , currently slaying it with her cool sassy look n the cherry on the cake @malaikaaroraofficial who sizzles effortlessly in anything she does! We’ve had such a blast in each other’s company and what a great run this season has been breaking records on the TRP charts n Tonite is the Grand Finale ! Tune in to @sonytvofficial n keep the love flowing,” he wrote as the caption.

Talking about dancing his way to the Best 5, he said, “I couldn’t be happier to reach the ‘Best 5’.
