Kia telluride order to delivery time 2023

Not so sure it will impact the popularity of the Telluride, but I’m glad I have regular gauges in my 2022.

Well I ordered on 4/21/2022 and just saw the exact car on Failcat. Could it be mine? Wow that would be great. Well here's hopping?

Sure did…yesterday in fact. I was informed that my order was recently migrated to KFOS (Kia Forward Ordering System), meaning they will finally receive allocation for my order. My sales rep says they’ll have an ETA by the end of next week once the order bank is closed and processed. This aligns with something I saw online, that the KFOS for dealership order submissions opens the third week of each month. So, I guess several more customer builds and dealership orders can expect to start their builds at that time. I believe once the build starts it’s usually about a month until you receive your vehicle.

Who's your sales person? I worked with Helen initially but she's now in management so I was passed onto someone else - can't think of his name offhand. I haven't seen the order in failcat. I try not to think about it because it's just torture otherwise.

Yes, I was initially told to work with Helen for custom orders, but my original salesperson and point of contact was Bryce. He has been my point of contact ever since.

My guess is the end of this week as this marks the third week of the month, but that's just a guess based on what my sales rep suggested

Tonight is when KFOS closes. Those that make the batch will get ETA's starting tomorrow/Wednesday.

This is the last KFOS allocation for 2022 Tellurides.

We may get an additional allocation on our weekly allocations but this is last from KFOS side

I checked in with my dealer this morning at he had me on hold for a while. The last time I checked in, there was a very direct no update. I found the delay odd as my sales guy seemed to be confident in what he was telling me in previous checking . Didn’t get that vibe today. I asked the process if they changed over to the 2023 what happens to those of us that had nightfall packages. He said either Kia calls us directly or the dealership will call to confirm the proposed change they plan.

Update: Got a call today from my dealer. My order's been accepted with a delivery date of 9/26/22. It'll be a '22 model. I'm good with that since I'm not sure I like all the changes that are coming on the '23 models. Order placed on 1/15/22. Wolf Gray, Nightfall, Prestige+. At least I have a target date now...even though it's months away. ;p

Had an order date of 2/12/22. Dark Moss SX Prestige Nightfall. Was told 6-8 months and just got the eta of 8/9 for mine.
