My impression of Lakeside Morning defies the scent notes. First, I smell a cool lavender-like note that it does not have. Next, I smell a creamy, slightly masculine sandalwood note that it does not have. Or does it? Could “crisp autumn air” be a mix of lavender and sandalwood? Sure, why not! Lakeside Morning is an airy, fresh cologne scent. It is in the family of BBW Crisp Morning Air, BBW Vanilla Birch and BBW Sweater Weather.

The wrap art on the 2022 single wick candle caught my eye (see. below). It’s the same graphic style as 2022 Leaves and Harvest Pomegranate, and I liked it so much it earned a precious spot in my suitcase to travel from the US to Europe!

I love the scent. Kate’s right, it IS reminiscent of BBW Crisp Morning Air, which I burned recently. In Lakeside Morning I smell fresh airy notes, lovely dry wood and indeed, more than a hint of apple. I wouldn’t categorize it as cologne-y, but there are subtle impressions of cologne.

It’s a beautiful home fragrance. I think this is a scent you could confidently burn when you have guests over. It has universal appeal.

Always trim wick to 1/4 inch before lighting and keep debris out of wax pool. Never burn longer than 4-hour intervals. Set candle on heat-resistant surface and avoid drafts. Always burn within sight and extinguish before leaving room. Don’t burn near things that catch fire. Keep away from children and pets. Don’t extinguish with water. Always let wax harden before relighting, touching or moving.
