Navigator credit union mobile deposit funds availability

In most cases, funds deposited via Mobile Deposit will be available on the next business day after your deposit is made, however, longer delays may apply.

Funds Deposited using Mobile Deposit may be delayed for a longer period of time under the following circumstances:

  • if we believe a check you deposit will not be paid
  • when you deposit checks totaling more than $5,000 on any one (1) day
  • when you redeposit a check that has been returned unpaid
  • if there is an emergency (such as failure of communications or computer equipment).

We will notify you if we delay your ability to withdraw funds for any of these reasons, and we will tell you when the funds will be available. They will generally be available no later than the seventh business day after the day of your deposit.

Do not dispose of your check or attempt to process at another institution or through another channel (ATM or in-branch). You should hold onto your check until 30 days after the deposit has posted to your account and then destroy it.

How long until mobile deposit funds are available?

In some cases, a mobile check deposit can be available within just a few minutes of uploading the check into the mobile banking app. However, it usually takes around one business day for deposits to go through. Following instructions from the bank carefully regarding uploads can speed up the deposit timeline.

Are mobile deposits available same day?

Funds will generally be made available the same day if deposited on a business day before 8:00 PM. The daily deposit limit is $5,000 per account. For peace of mind, you'll receive an email when you deposit the check AND when the funds are available in your account.

Do mobile deposits deposit instantly?

You'll immediately get a message that your deposit is processing. And within seconds, we'll send you an email verifying that it was received. Funds are generally available the next business day.

Do mobile deposits take longer to clear?

It Can Take Longer for Funds to Hit Your Account When you deposit a check from your mobile device, it may take a little longer for your funds to become available based on what time of day the deposit was made.
