Sister Wives: Will Sister Wives Return For Season 17?
The Brown family members have deserted each other over time. The four wives don’t seem to get along. And as for Kody, some wives and children don’t get him and vice versa. After Christine’s split from Kody, it looks like it’s difficult for the family to be the same as ever. That’s because Kody recently admitted that he’s taking grief counseling. Therefore, fans have speculated he’s grieving the loss of Christine. Furthermore, Kody blatantly admitted that he could not trust Meri after the cheating scandal.
And as for Janelle, Kody has said that he doesn’t love her either. Hence, all these reasons give rise to whether the show will be back or not? Or is it canceled? Meanwhile, fans know TLC for its ever-lasting entertaining shows. And Sister Wives happens to be one of them. Therefore, Sister Wives will likely be returning for the seventeenth season on a happy note. That’s because Paedon Brown has confirmed that his mother is filming for the next season. More so, Meri and Robyn Brown have admitted during their live stream that they are filming for Season 17. Hence, it is unlikely that it will cancel the show. However, TLC is yet to confirm it.
Ex Sister Wives: New TLC Show?
Christine and Janelle share a great companionship. The two have been there for each other as sisters. Christine had told the cameras that she would take care of her kids when Janelle used to go to work. Also, Janelle’s son, Gabe, recalls that Christine was the primary caregiver in an episode. Hence, the Sister Wives audience is rooting for a spin-off series of Janelle and Christine. So, the Redditors are demanding a show featuring Janelle and Christine. They have also suggested the name for the show, “Ex Sister Wives.”
The fans even said they wanted to see Christine’s single life and know more about her dating life. Moreover, fans want to see the two friends together and how they spend their day-to-day lives. Hence, according to viewers, it’s a thrilling concept. However, it is to be noted that TLC hasn’t made any announcement regarding the same. Furthermore, Season 17 is confirmed and likely to air around late 2022 and early 2023. However, TLC will announce season 17 of Sister Wives after part three of Tell-All airs. The long-running TLC reality series Sister Wives is returning for its most shocking season yet, as Kody Brown and his four wives — Meri, Janelle, Christine, and Robyn — go through dramatic changes.
Set to premiere on Sunday, September 11, the new season will take an emotional turn as Christine leaves Kody, altering the dynamic of this polygamist family forever. The split was first made public in November 2021, when Christine took to Instagram, writing, “After more than 25 years together, Kody and I have grown apart, and I have made the difficult decision to leave.”
“I agreed to be a sister wife, but I agreed to be an equal wife,” Christine says in the new trailer (watch below). Viewers are then shown Christine revealing her decision to leave Kody and the fellow wives, which leads to plenty of tough conversations, dramatic breakdowns, and teary goodbyes.
The new season will follow Christine as she is determined to move to Utah to be with her older children. But when Kody tries to stop her, Christine calls him out for favoring one wife and her children over all the others. The stresses only increase as people begin to take sides.

The upcoming season will also see the Brown family dealing with the COVID pandemic, Christine’s daughter Mykelti giving birth, and Janelle buying a giant RV and moving onto the undeveloped Coyote Pass property. The Brown family is more divided than ever, and when the season is all said and done, they will never be the same again.
