I had bought this cable anticipating a day when I would get stuck. I bought this. The day did come actually. I left my Honda car's cabin lights on and next day the battery was discharged. I rushed to charge it through this recently bought cable and patted my back for the 'wise' decision. I tried using my Swift car battery to connect through this cable. However, the battery won't charge and car won't start. After struggling multiple times, I decided to seek help. Got a mechanic over who got his own cable at least twice as thick as the one from Amazon. He first tried to start the car through Amazon cable, and as expected, it didn't work. Then finally he connected his own. It took that cable less than 3 sec to jump start my car. Literally, it started off in an instant. The cable from Amazon was no good. He looked at me with wry smile and said, nobody should buy this stuff online, most of them end up in the trash can. Looks like mine too, will find a place in the trashcan. Unfortunately, it happened when the return was off limits.
There goes my hard-earned money on a substandard product !! + Waste of time, energy and Money to get it fixed by a mechanic. ..
In summary - 3 words for you. "Don't buy it" please.

I bought this Battery Jump cable for my compact car, for which it should have worked but just caused me a huge deal of inconvenience and i had shell out ₹.400 for getting it done from another mechanic after having wasted 3 precious days.
The description is misleading, and i request Amazon to Pull off this product or Correct the details, i think its probably more suitable for bike only.

I got this car battery jumper cable recently for Rs. 949/- (Lightning Deal) which is somewhat expensive but quality is very good and overall weight is 1.4kg. Cable length is 15 and half feet including crocodile clips. Core is thick as you can see in pictures and spec says it is 8 gauge. Crocodile clips are heavy and rubber coated, though I wish it had rubber cover/grip for extra safety. One should be careful when holding the crocodile clips because its not fully insulated (Springs & Rivets) and always follow instructions. Cable has 130 amp rating and I'm not sure whether it is suitable for high ah batteries (i.e Diesel engines, SUVs). I have petrol car with 35AH battery so it should work fine. I would highly recommend this cable but please make sure it is suitable for your car.

I opened the package first time today. Tried to jump start my car battery but the car does not start. Called the battery wala. He tried to start the car battery with this cable but no result. Then he started with his wire it started immediately. He again tried so many times with this wire but failed. He told me that the wire is defective.

It is copper Coated Aluminium. The crimping of ire at the clamp is not done properly with some loose strands. Price is justified if it was made of pure copper, but since it's aluminium, it's kinda overpriced.
