No customer reviewsWhere is the ice maker sensor?The ice level sensor is located on the right side wall of the ice storage bin and monitors the ice levels. If the sensor is blocked or dirty it could cause the ice maker to stop ice production.
How do you clean an ice maker sensor?Use a cotton swab soaked with a little white vinegar to gently clean the surface of the sensors. You want the surface as clean and clear as possible. If the issue persists, run your Opal through a cleaning cycle with only pure white vinegar.
How do you reset the bin full on a Scotsman ice machine?On the control panel, press the “off” button and power down the machine. Wait about 10 seconds and then press and hold the “on” button for a couple of seconds. This will turn the machine back on and initiate the reset process.
How do I bypass bin full on ice machine?The only problem is, even though the ice maker says it's full, it's shooting blanks.. Open your ice maker.. Check your slideway.. Remove any debris.. Rotate the slideway to test functionality.. Check back within 2 hours.. |
