This thing is pretty cool. The only thing to know is that you have to press the tiny button to turn it on. I started and ran a car with it and then used it to power the winch (Warn 10,000lb) on my Jeep and it worked great. When I went to recharge it the lights say it still has a full charge. This will be in my off-road kit every time we go out. No more dead battery worries. This is a quality piece. It’s the same brand that Costco sells but this one is much more powerful and has more battery so it lasts longer. I am very happy with it.

Happy to report that not only can it charge/power phones and tablets, but also laptops that get power via a USB-C port - I tried it with a MacBook Pro that gets power via USB-C, and it was able to power the laptop (and charge the battery when the laptop was closed). Have not yet tried to jump start a car.

Fortunately I do not have to use this often for myself. But I can't count the number of times I have had to help others. Finally I donated my last one so I did not have to keep running to their house. I just bought another and already had to help someone else with it. Good for charging phones and devices too.

I’ve used this to start many vehicles, including a dump truck. The battery pack lasts for several Juno starts before I charge it…and it probably doesn’t really need to be charged, but better safe than sorry! Everything fits in the case, which easily fits in the glove box. Purchase with confidence.

2. Over-Current Protection

Over current protection is limits the current the jump start car battery will deliver to its peak rated current preventing damage to the device.

3. Over-Voltage Protection

This feature prevents too high a voltage from being applied to the unit when charging. Again, this can happen during a mains power surge. Take Tattu 12000mah 12V jump starter as an example: when capacity is up to 95%, battery could not be charged that to prevent over-charging.

4. Over-Charge Protection

The charging circuits on more basic jump starters will not automatically stop charging the device when the batteries are full. With overcharge protection, the charging circuit will "float" charge the jump starter once full, and won't keep increasing the voltage applied to the cells, which could then overcharge and destroy the battery pack.

5. Over-load Protection

It protects the unit from receiving a current higher than the manufacturer's specification when charging. This may happen during a surge from the mains power feeding the jump starter's charger.

6. High / low temperature Protection

Tattu 12000mah car jump starter operation temperature is -10℃ - 55℃. When jump start car battery operation temperature is too high or low, it will make the car jump starter stable.

Why is my jump box beeping?

The main alarm devices are for low battery level, overload on the inverter, or "reverse connection" alarm. Assuming that you've not connected the jumper cables to anything and aren't using the inverter, then the low charge seems the only possible issue.

Why are jump leads not working?

If the car starts right away, your problem is most likely a dead battery. Charge the battery and clean the terminals and cable connectors to ensure good contact. If your car does not start by jump-starting, you may have a problem with your starter, alternator or another component of the electrical system.

Is it OK to charge a jump starter after every start?

Jump starters rely on a battery as their power source. As a result, they must be periodically recharged. Always recharge your portable jump starter/battery booster pack after each use and at least once every 6 months.
