A:  Sounds like a bad battery. Mine has only ever blinked green until charged

by|Oct 9, 2018

A:  Hi! It Can be 3 different answer. 1) It could be bad battery. Where did you buy battery? If you bought from Home Deport that very easy return back and get new one. Actually new battery has warranty 1year. If you bought new battery from different source you can take this battery to any Shops that provide warranty service to that brand and they will check if battery is dead. You can found that information on internet with address and phone number in your area. You also can call to Black and decker to customer service by phone and describe your situation. For that you need provide s/n of battery and where did you bought it. 2) If you have another battery that keep charging on that charger That yours new battery is dead and charger is good. If the same situation with another battery (flushing red light that yours charger is bad). You need replace it. Same steps as It number 1. In my experience when charger can not charge the battery it is blown up capacitor inside of charger. 3) Yours charger is dead, it can happens but rear. Sincerely Gene.

A:  The answer is it should not hurt to leave the battery in the charger. My reference is a tag on the charger power cable which states Charging stops when complete to prevent damage.

by|Jun 14, 2020

A:  The electronics are supposed to prevent that, but it's best to remove it after fully charged.

by|Nov 4, 2018
