Hello moms out there ๐Ÿ‘‹
Its the weekend, my fertility clinic is closed, my urgent care clinic is closed, and I have no one to turn to for feedback.

Last month I had an artificial cycle with a frozen embryo transfer, everything went well, on day 16 my hCG was 289 which I was told was great, follow up hGC 4 days later was 1526, which I was told was also good, but the day after my last blood test I started bleeding, after using the bathroom. it was pinkish to red and made a stain about the size of a lemon. Now I have brown spotting and cramping (although I've had cramps on and off since embryo transfer)
I'm so worried. I thought the hCG was great and just the day after this happened. I'm so worried that my embryo has died, has anyone had a similar experience? I'm looking for some explanations of what might be happening.

P.S. neither the bleeding or the pain is is very severe, so I don't think I need to go to the hospital right way.

Hi Hollyboo, I had quite heavy bleeding at 6 weeks and really thought it was the end for us but I'm now 24 weeks and all is going fine. I had a lot of bleeding up to 19 weeks and I know it's absolutely terrifying but try not to worry, it can work out fine, and it's a great sign that your betas are good and high. Apparently women with ivf pregnancies are more prone to bleeding for some reason. I hope the scan tomorrow shows that everything is perfect and the spotting stops soon. T xx

I had a very heavy bleed at 7 weeks and a lighter one at 13 weeks. A haematoma showed on a scan next to the sac and it just took time to dissolve....DS is now sitting, giggling up at me here. All was fine after ๐Ÿ™‚ just take it easy for a few days.

I had a tiny bit of spotting and cramps for a few days around 5 week mark, first pregnancy. Turns out it was my uterus stretching and no reason for bleed (old blood apparently). Had 12 week scan and everything going well. Best of luck!

I had spotting in 6-9 weeks, then found out it's twins. Good luck.

Hi Hollyboo, did they do an exam or just a scan? I had intermittent spotting from early on. It was like the start or end of a period, kind of brownish, never bright red and only a little bit each time. Around week 9 & 10 it happened 5 days in a row so I went into the ED for an exam. Straight away they could see I have a polyp on my cervix and that's what was causing it. It was a relief to get a definite answer and they told me that as I had normal smear results in February before conceiving, this polyp is just something that comes with my pregnancy, it's nothing to worry about and will probably sort itself out over time. I was told I would probably see frequent spotting but as long as it doesn't change to bright red it's nothing to worry about. As it happens, it has only happened once since but i'm sure it will be on and off but we're just happy I know what it is.
