Diners drive ins and dives maple and motor

Maple and Motor

I ordered the flat top brisket with grilled onions and my gf had a cheeseburger with bacon. Her burger looked awesome and the bacon was legit. No flimsy stuff. My brisket was tender and delicious. The grilled onions were a superb compliment to the brisket. Will definitely be going back soon.

title: Maple Motor Burgers & Beer Dallas, TX
description: Maple Motor is rated BEST in Dallas for it’s half-pound burgers, hand-formed from a proprietary blend of chuck and brisket with a 70:30 fat content and serve…

Burgermeister Jack Perkins announced via Facebook yesterday that the Food Network will be airing the Maple and Motor-featured episode of Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives on Monday, April 9, at 9 p.m.

The gloriously douchey (But somehow still lovable? No? Just me?) Guy Fieri tore through Dallas in late 2011 and stopped by other Dallas staples, including Il Cane Rosso, Pecan Lodge, Chop House Burgers in Arlington, Pepe's and Mito's and Good 2 Go Taco.

This was his second tour through the Big D, after he spotlighted Chef Point Cafe and Deep Ellum's Twisted Root in 2009. He was also the spokesdude for Dallas-based Carlson Restaurants' flagship chain T.G.I. Fridays. Dough-flinger Jay Jerrier also announced this week the date of Cane Rosso's episode, which will air on April 30. No word yet on the debut of the other episodes featuring local spots, but get busy stuffing your faces with juicy burgers and Neapolitan pizza before all hell breaks loose.

We went to eat 5 minutes before they closed. We were from out of town. EVERYONE there was so welcoming. They insisted we sit, eat, and enjoy. My son got a regular cheese burger and I got (recommended by the cashier) a Bacon Burger with an egg and grilled onion. Our food was wonderful. I have never tried a burger quite like that. My son tried my burger and said he definitely would get that next time. Yes, he is planning to go back if we return to Dallas. To top it off, we were celebrating a HUGE accomplishment my son was awarded about 30 minutes prior. All the employees really made my son feel like family. That was so great taken that the rest of our family was out of town. I will forever be grateful for that. This is a great place!!

Pappy's Old Fashioned Hamburger at 1475 West Mockingbird beats this place, hands down. Go to Pappy's and check it out. Pappy's has plate lunches, too.

I went in for a burger and kiddie grilled cheese with my Two year old. I ignored the sign on the front door because no one in there has the nuts to say anything if he makes a sound. My two year old loved the grilled cheese and I am sorry to say that the burger was just ok. The onion rings reminded me of Whataburgers, which is not all bad, and the signs on the door said more to me about the owner being an ass than a good cook. If you are in the area grab a burger late or early!! Before 11:15 or after 1:00 it's not worth waiting in line. Go down the street to Avilla's!!

It's always nice to walk into a place where you respect the owner immediately. I love the fact that they don't take special orders (pink or no pink!), a sign that says "no one wants to hear your kids cry" and damn good food! :) Instantly I thought, I LOVE THIS PLACE! Great adult place to go for lunch or dinner. Enjoy!

Overrated! The owner doesn't like kids. And don't move the tables!

The Burgers are Awesome!  The sides too.  Fries with cheese, bacon and jalepeno's are the bomb as well.  Love this place!!
