How to send email from iphone with picture

Occasionally, emailing a photo might be necessary to show something to a client or co-worker. Apple's iOS 6 software, which is compatible with the iPhone 3GS, makes sharing a photo you have taken possible through the iPhone's built-in Camera app. The Camera app offers image-size options that decrease file size and results in smaller attachments.

1. Tap the "Camera" app from the home screen. Point your iPhone at the subject you wish to take a picture of and tap the "Camera" icon located at the bottom of the screen.

2. Tap the thumbnail in the bottom left corner to access the photo you took. Click on the icon at the bottom of the screen that looks like a box with an arrow coming out of it to load the sharing options.

3. Tap the icon labeled "Mail." The Camera app will open a new email message and attach the photo to it. Tap the "To" row and enter the email address you wish to send the photo to.

4. Tap the second row, labeled "Cc/Bcc, From." The options to carbon copy and blind carbon copy appear, as well as options to choose the email account from which you wish to send the picture. Adjust as necessary.

5. Tap the "Subject" line. Type a subject for the email. Tap the area just above where the image is placed. Add any text you wish to include in the body of the email here.

6. Tap "Send" located at the top right of the screen. Choose a size for the picture if sending a full-size image is not necessary. Size options include small, medium or large. Click on the desired size to send the photo.
